1. Overview
SarajevoCar.rent is an online car rental comparison and booking platform. By using our website, you agree to these terms and conditions. We act as an intermediary between you and the vehicle supplier (Europcar and its partners).
2. Booking & Payment
All bookings are requests subject to vehicle availability. Payment is made directly to the rental supplier upon vehicle pickup. Prices shown include taxes and mandatory fees unless otherwise stated. Optional extras (GPS, child seat, additional insurance) are payable at the counter.
3. Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before pickup may be subject to a fee as determined by the rental supplier.
4. Driver Requirements
Drivers must hold a valid driving licence for at least one year. The minimum driver age varies by vehicle category (typically 21–25 years). An international driving permit may be required for licences not issued in the EU/EEA. A valid credit card in the driver's name is required at pickup for the security deposit.
5. Vehicle Use
Rental vehicles may be driven in Bosnia & Herzegovina and across borders into the countries listed at pickup, subject to the supplier's cross-border policy. The renter is responsible for all traffic fines, tolls, and fuel during the rental period.
6. Liability & Insurance
All vehicles include basic insurance coverage (CDW — Collision Damage Waiver and TP — Theft Protection). The renter is liable for any damage up to the excess amount stated in the rental agreement. Additional insurance to reduce or eliminate the excess can be purchased at the counter.
7. Limitation of Liability
SarajevoCar.rent is not the vehicle supplier and is not liable for the condition of vehicles, delays, or disputes arising from the rental contract. Our liability is limited to the accuracy of information displayed on this website.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
